We have now had nearly a week to restore the kitchen, lounge and dining room back to normal, and the cupboards are filling up fast !
We are really happy to have found Lexden Builders so huge thanks to everybody for making it a positive and very rewarding experience especially in terms of the outcome.
We are both so delighted with the end result, and the kitchen way exceeds our expectations.

Steel Works to Lounge & Kitchen – Location: Boxted, Colchester, Essex
Just to say a massive thank you to Steve and all the team at Lexden Builders for the exceptional job in removing some walls in our property. We wanted to open up our lounge and dining room into one room and our kitchen and an existing kitchen extension into one room and WOW what a difference it has made!
Steve project managed from start to finish and seamlessly arranged the builders, plasterers, electricians, carpenter and heating engineer. He consistently kept us updated throughout which was so helpful.
The thought of builders coming in to demolish walls was daunting but from the start Steve and the architect were very professional, friendly , helpful and their approach and advice put us at ease. And we need not have worried as the builders John and Jim were outstanding from the offset, so tidy and hardworking, with great attention to detail.
We are so thrilled with the results and now have two beautiful open spaces which has transformed our home.

Home Renovation – Location: Stanway
Simply stunning work carried out in our house. Steve & all of his team have been amazing, efficient, polite & friendly during 4 weeks of work & we are truly overwhelmed with the results. We felt at ease with everyone that came in. We put our house in their hands distributing keys to all & what we now have is simply the most amazing living space. Lexden builders project managed the entire work. We didn’t need to do anything & disruption was minimal. Doors were secured to reduce brick dust travelling through the house. We had support to keeping as many appliances for as long as possible as the kitchen was ripped out & with everyone being so friendly, even our young teenagers felt at ease & would chat to the team during the work. We actually miss having the team around now that they have gone!
The guidance we had throughout led to this beautiful space. Before & after pictures can be seen on the website, we are clients Paul & Nikki. We had advice on layout, design, internal doors, lighting, wall paint though to what we would not have considered such as boxing in wiring so that aesthetically we had the best look of our house. Lexden Builders delivered exactly what they said they would and so much more too. Lexden builders, you are incredible, and the work is simply stunning. Thank you so much to all of you.
