New Patio & Steps – Location: Lexden, Colchester, Essex

I have now used Lexden Builders twice now and on both occasions I have been delighted with the results. The first time to was rectify and resolve issues with cracks in the original render on the house exterior, hardie plank most of the existing house and feature brick copings to all of the windows which was all completed to a very high standard.

 The most recent occasion was to extend the patio, replace the existing concrete patio slabs and to build two steps down from the house to the patio.

 Steve arranged a date and time to visit and review the required work. Steve’s input during his visit was essential in guiding us to make the right decisions for type of paving to use and the correct height of the steps from the house down to the patio.

 I have nothing but praise for the professionalism and helpfulness of the Lexden Builders team, who undertook the work to build the steps and lay the patio. The guys made sure I was fully comfortable with the height of the step from the house, down on to the patio. They also gave great advice on choosing the correct brick for the base of the step that would blend in with the existing brickwork. In addition, Steve would visit each morning and review progress of the works with the team.

 At the end of the work the team ensured that everything was clean and tidy, which was much appreciated.

 I have no hesitation whatsoever, in recommending Lexden Builders and will certainly be happy to use them in the future. Many thanks for a fantastic and professional job.

Front Boundary Wall to a Listed House – Location: Colchester, Essex

I recently had a front wall built by Steve Friend which was completed on time and was competitively priced. Steve and his team managed the job with minimal disruption and cleaned up on a daily basis. I was highly satisfied with the quality of their work which was over and above my expectations. Considering this was work on a Listed Building the quality had to be excellent and it was.

 Because of the nature of the work the requirements changed on a daily basis and these were efficiently accommodated by the skilled workforce. It was actually a pleasure in having them around.

 Hardly a day passed when the builders were not complimented on their work by those walking by and I was continually asked whether I would recommend Steve’s Company. I have no hesitation in doing so.

New Wall – Location: Tiptree, Essex

I had a front wall built by Lexden Builders Ltd which was built with hardly any disruption and to my great satisfaction. The workmanship was excellent .I would recommend them to anyone. 

Radial Wall – Location: Tiptree, Essex

Have used Steve Friend at Lexden Builders Ltd several times, and have been most satisfied. Also several friends have used them on my recommendation, and been equally satisfied. They are friendly helpful and efficient. Their pricing is competitive and they do everything possible to honour appointments and deadlines. They built a wall to the front and side boundary of my property, with which we are very pleased, many people passing by have requested the name of the builder involved.
